This week I have been working on section 9 and have gotten about halfway through it. I can't wait until finals week is over.

This week I took the section 8 test and I received a 90% on it. I am not going to be doing a final project and I will be returning to the book and finishing it up by doing section 9. I am excited to finish it out!!It's been a lot of fun!!

This week I have finished section 8 and have done the projects at the end of the chapter. I will be taking the section 8 test this Friday and I hope that I get a good score on it!!

This week I took the test for section 7 and received a 100% on it. I have started working on section 8 and have been using blending modes, adding color overlay and much more. It's pretty fun!!

This week I am going to finish the artistic painting project at the end of section 7. I'm probably going to be asking Brittany more questions since she's done it already.Then I will take the section 7 test and start on section 8.

This week I went through section 7 and I am working on the last project at the end of the section. The project is where you create an artistic painting using different flower pictures. I'm getting a little confused, but I am going to try and figure it out today.I will take the test on section 7 next week.

This week I am going to finish progect 7 and take the test. I am editing a file right now that I created.It's fun!!

Blog #24 Week 11 of working on Photoshop

This week I took the test for section 6 and received a 95% on it. I have finished the after section progects for chapter 6 also. I have started working on Section 7 where I am working on creating a file from scratch and putting different images and other things on it.

This week I will finish the progect 6 and take the test. Right now I am working on the end of chapter progect where you create different versions of the vases.

This week I finished all of section 6 except for the graduation card and attention getter. I think the projects at the end of the sections are good and fun to do!

This week I will be working on section 6 and probably will get through section 6 and take the test at the end of the week. I am learning how to do shapes right now and coloring them in.

This week I took the section 5 test and got 100% on it. I have been working on section 6 and I have been creating decorative shapes and much more.

This week I will be taking the section 5 test and working on section 6. I hope to get as far as I can this week on section 6.

Blog #18 Week 8 of working on Photoshop

This week I will be taking the section 5 test and working on section 6. It looks like I will be working with edit layers, channels, creating different things such as a snapshot, action set, new action and much more.

Blog #17 Week 7 of working on Photoshop

This week I finished section 5 and did all of the end of chapter projects except for the cathedral one. I learned how to use the dodge tool, spot healing brush and much more. I will be taking the section 5 test on Monday. I wasn't able to use the red-eye tool though because we don't have it.

Blog #16 Week 7 of working on Photoshop

This week I will be working more on the section 5 and probably take the test for section 5. I will be gone on Wednesday for the Math Track Meet, so I won't get anything done that day.

Blog #15 End of Week 6 of working on Photoshop

This week was short because we had Teusday and Wednesday off. So I started working on the section 5 and didn't get that far because of the short week. I was cleaning damaged spots off of a letter and I tried to duplicate the layer on the picture of the man, but it wouldn't work. If anyone knows how to do it, any help would be appreciated.

Blog #14 Week 6 of working on Photoshop

This week I will be moving on to the section 5 and working on the things in there. I scored 95% on my section 4 test on Friday. I hope we get out of school!

Blog #13 End of Week 5 working on Photoshop

This week I finished section 4 and took the section 4 test. I put stars on the music and piano picture and also made a shape with the elliptical marquee tool, which turned out to be a music note. I made three of those and then colored them green. I also used the line tool to make the top part of the notes and used different brush tips too.

Blog #12 Week 5 of working on Photoshop

Today I'm going to work on Section 4. I will be using the paint bucket tool and the pen tool to color in objects and to draw them on the screen. That's cool that we can start getting some color on these pictures!

Blog #11 End of 4th week of working on Photoshop

This week I took the Section 3 test and scored 100% on it. I am going to start working on Section 4 on Friday. This week I figured out how to put the grass on the yard. Thanks Britt!=) I finished editing the house picture. In Section 4 I will be creating a file from scratch, using the gradient editor and painting/drawing with color.

Blog #10 Week 4 of working on Photoshop

This week I am going to finish section 3 and take the section 3 test. I will be creating an adjustment layer, adding a layer style and creating a clone. I'm sure that I will get done with the project 3 and test. I will start section 4 after I have taken the section 3 test.

Blog #9 End of week 3 working

This week I took the Section 2 test and scored 100% on it. I also started Section 3 and worked on subtracting sections of the different photos (flowers, flowerbed and tree). I then put the objects in the big picture with the house. It's a lot of fun doing this stuff! I'm glad we have this as a class.

Blog #8 3rd week of working on Photoshop

This week I'm going to work on section 3 and print the test from section 2 that I took last Thursday. I'm excited to learn how to do more things! I especially like how you can move objects in a picture and get a duplicate of them.

Blog #7 End of working on week 2

This week I finished the progect 2 and I took a practice test. I learned how to duplicate a picture move one and rotate and nudge a candlestick so that it was straight in the candle holder. It was a lot of fun this week.

Blog #6 2nd week of working on photoshop

This week I'm going to finish Project 1 and hopefully get a good start on Project 2. I will also take the Project 1 test and put it in the bin.

Blog #5 End of first week of working on Photoshop

This week I started phtoshop, opened a photo, looked at the photoshop window, looked at file types and saved a photo that I edited. I also started changing the image size. I went through the vocab flashcards. I am really excited to continue getting better at Photoshop and to learn how to do more things with it.

Blog #4 First week of working on photoshop

I'm going to use the CS2 book and I already downloaded the file. Since we don't have the CS2, I'm going to use the 7.0 version for the projects. This week I'm going to start project one and hopefully get through: Starting Photoshop, Opening a Photo, The Photoshop Window, File Types and Saving a Photo.

Creating a blog & quarter project

I created my blog by getting a gmail account, and coming up with a user name and a password. Then I went to blogger.com/start and wrote my first entry, and put a picture on my blog site. My quarter three project is to edit a bunch of pictures and then put them together in a type of collage and the test out of the CSS2 book.

Hey guys! This semester I will be working on Adobe Photoshop. The reasons for my choice are personal, and I will learn by going through the textbook and doing lessons from it. My time frame is 9 weeks long. I propose that I be graded weekly.
